Uploading Videos

IMPORTANT: You must be registered and logged in to use this feature.

ALL VIDEOS REQUIRE APPROVAL AFTER UPLOAD.  YOUR VIDEO WILL APPEAR ONLINE ONCE IT HAS BEEN APPROVED.  (Approval usually occurs in less than 24 hours.)

There are two options for uploading videos:

1.  Upload a video from my Computer - This option refers to video files that you have on your own computer only.  The maximum file size you can upload is 11MB.
2.  Add a video from an external website - This option enables you to show videos from some of your other favorite video sites.  At the moment you can share videos from YOUTUBE, GOOGLEVIDEO and VIMEO only.  

Upload video from your computer:

Select this option in the drop down menu and click continue.  You will be required to give your video a title and also include a description and keywords.  Note: Keywords are used to help visitors find your video in the search.  Use words that are relevant to your video.  Once you have added your video information, click "Continue".

Next you will see the "Browse" button.  Simply click this button to search for your video on your computer.  Select your video by clicking on it and then click the open button on the right of the window.  Uploading of your video will begin.  Remember, your video must then be approved by a site administrator before it will appear online.

Add a video from an external website:

Select the "Add a video from an external website" and click continue.  Copy the complete embed code from the original video.  (In YouTube if embedding is enabled - you will find the emed code to the right of the video.  In Vimeo you will find the embed button on the video itself.  Click it to reveal the embed code.)

Paste the code into the embed code window and then choose the category best suited for your video.  When finished click the "Add" button.  Remember, your video must then be approved by a site administrator before it will appear online.
